Thankful for these Guaranteed Gifts

God is so good to us.  He does so many things for us.  We have been given a new eternal life.  What more could you ask?  Actually God expects us to ask for more.  He wants us to have everything we need to live a productive, fruitful, joyful and peaceful life for Him.  When we ask for things that are in accordance with His Will we are guaranteed to receive them.  You can’t even get that kind of guarantee from an ad in the paper.  Just recently we saw an ad for a product being 50% off starting on a certain day.  Once we were at the store we discovered that they didn’t have any of the advertised product in stock and that they were not expecting any.  They also weren’t offering any rain checks on the product.  Now there ad said they would have it in at that price, so it should have been guaranteed.  Unlike man, what God says is guaranteed.  So let’s take a look at one of those things that is in His Will that is absolutely guaranteed for you, if you only ask Him.  Read Colossians 1: 9-11.

⁹ For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, ¹⁰ so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing [to Him], bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. ¹¹ May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience, with joy.

We can have full knowledge of God’s Will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.  What a wonderful thing.  To completely know what God wants and expects.  To have all the wisdom and spiritual understanding we need with knowing His Will.  Wow!  How amazing!  The results of that knowledge, wisdom and understanding of His Will in our lives will result in us living a life fully pleasing to Him.  What a blessing!  What joy that would be!  To know we fully please God!  We don’t have that guarantee with anyone we even know here on Earth.

So I know I am going to pray even more earnestly for full knowledge of God’s Will, His wisdom and spiritual understanding.  I know it’s guaranteed, if I just ask and believe. I am so thankful to God for these guaranteed gifts. (Please excuse any ads associated with my posts, I did not put them there)
